![]() ![]() All I need is help with displaying the 64 outputs. Use 4 switches for the A inputs and 4 switches for the B inputs. Operation: Y A or Y B when the select line is 0 or 1, respectively. This is a screenshot of what I've done so far. Using a quad 2:1 multiplexer, build a circuit which accepts 4-bit binary numbers as inputs with A A 3 A 0, B B 3 B 0 and has a 4-bit binary number for its output, Y Y 3 Y 0. This device generates a continuous sequence of 0-to-1 value changes at its output. Arrange your circuit so that it fits on one printed page, and so that it is easy for the grader to change inputs and see the results in one screen. Time is advancing because of the Clock device we placed in the circuit. Think of creative ways to display your outputs to be understandable, and be sure to document them for the grader, explaining what (s)he should see. Make sure your file is ready to simulate to show your decoder works properly. Implement your design in LogicWorks using the decoder parts in the 7400.clf library. Show how to implement a 6:64 decoder using smaller decoder parts. ![]() So how would I use an AND gate with two inputs? Do I ground the other input?Īre all my outputs suppose to be 0 or 1? I think it's suppose to be 0 but I just want to make sure.Ĭould someone experienced with LogicWorks please help me out. So therefore, do I use AND gates to display the maxterms? Do I connect them to binary probes?īecause one thing I noticed is that for each output, it only contains one maxterm. PAGE 3 The LogicWorks JK flip-flop shown here is a negative edge triggered flip-flop, which means that it stores data on the high to low (1 to 0) transition of the clock, not the low to high (0 to 1) transition. ![]() The device I used for the 4:16 is a 74154 with active low outputs and enable inputs. Bassam Matar is the only person that has the right to distribute this document in any format. I am trying to display the outputs of my 6:64 decoder. I used the 2-to-4 as an enable decoder for all the other decoders. I used 1 2-to-4 decoder and 4 4-to-16 decoders. I am trying to create a 6-to-64 decoder and did this by cascading smaller decoders. Hi could someone please help with the circuit software logicworks. ![]()
